What do you do when your best friends just redesigned their home and you are a wee bit envious?? You call the same design firm (Hi, it’s we - we’re the designers) that came in with an eye for creating space for this young family to play, paint, craft and still tuck everything away nice and tidy for entertaining. This lovely home is one large inviting room. The entry was enclosed to create a formal dining area, new table and chairs for their very large friend and family group. The main living space pulls triple duty as the TV room, music room, play area, reading room and game night. We removed a fireplace in the back corner and were able to open up the space for a banquette, new table and chairs, along with a play area for their children to gather while the family prepares meals. The home office was updated with new storage, millwork, wall covering and a new murphy bed for overnight guests.
